Meeting Oliver Aron | Newborn Session Lifestyle

Tucked away in a cozy apartment in my hometown is where this adorable Newborn Lifestyle session took place. Before I went into the session I had recently watched a small lecture/video by Annie Leibovitz about the way she approaches all her photography. (If you are not familiar with her work please check it out) In one section of the lecture she discusses the part about posing and comfortability. Many times as photographers we approach our sessions or clients with the idea that we have to make the "comfortable" like in the sense of guiding them to fit into our poses or vision for the shoot. But those techniques aren't real and don't allow us to capture individuality or the RAW occasion.

I walked into this family shoot going to deliver as little to no direction. This was my first time using the word 'LIFESTYLE' in my Newborn Sessions and I was a little intimidated. It's actually easier to mold clients into typical poses or styles of photography we feel ok with shooting; rather then trying to capture a mood or feeling. You will never understand how surprised and full my heart felt when I finished. Oliver and his family intermingled beautiful and I honestly never had to say a word. I had forgotten the simplest and easy part about photography, and that is humans we will just be and even better love will always shine through.

Welcome Earth Side Oliver Aron🦕🦖
